Here I stand muted in silence
watching as it foments,
the flowering of pride,
gathering around me, leering
as they sonder past me
my blood screams, pernicious
the glee in their eyes unscrupulous,
judging and scorning with disdain
as my members flail about in pain.
but, this shame is of no consequence
My life, mine to own;
my fear, mine to disown;
my darkness, disembarked
my sins, reproached and remarked.
but ,this infamy is of no consequence.
Siblings and loved ones enduring-
the agony of indignity, sequestered,
the shame in the game
rhymes with the times
but, this abject sorrow too is of no consequence.
When the sands of time
come storming down the drain
the grime of our deeds
will dissipate into the sea of reeds.
All that remains are lost memories-
this too is of no consequence
A time gone by
torn from the memory of men
all that remains
are the acts recorded in eternity,
rife in the heart of the grand potter.
for He says,
Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
my shame therefore
is unsubstantiated,
by the likes of men
for my judge is my keeper,
and my tears, at his feet.
In response to every one who knows my name
My blog is a shame to my own family because I am being brutally honest and there are lots of people waiting to say to my immediate family “I told you so!” or ” So that’s what he really is!!!! “. In any case, I’d rather be condemned by the world, but justified before GOD.
