It centers around teens and young adults who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus while living in today’s society. Devotionals, discussions, and all sorts of topics can be found on my blog page. Its not your average Christian blog by any means. I encourage all age groups actually! Thanks.

Mary Rensberry Author at QuickTurtle Books®:  I have had more than my share of hard lessons in life and only care to repeat the positive ones. Thus, I was inspired to write the book I AM SPIRIT as a guide for myself and others to achieve a life filled with more happiness and success.

Even though I was a certified teacher early in life, I fell prey to my own insecurities and lack of confidence to stand on my feet. I was running and searching but I was not looking. I became entangled in various religious beliefs and left my family and friends. Despite the many negatives inherent in the situation, I gained a comprehensive knowledge of the bible and its many interpretations. It was at this time I studied and received a Certificate in Christian Counseling. I also obtained my Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology and decided to take a year off from teaching. It was then I found a method to the madness. I confronted the mistakes in my life and acknowledged my responsibilities for my own condition. I became more ethical and responsible for the future of myself, my family and friends. That’s when I gained the ability to make up my own mind regarding myself as a being.

Life began to be more fun and pleasurable for me. I gravitated toward writing and drawing and taking photographs of nature. I learned to look and listen more. I decided to causatively enjoy the ride and the journey. Deciding that I could make a difference in somebody else’s life, if only one person, led me to self-publish I AM SPIRIT. It is a self-help book that can be used all throughout the day. It starts with the many attributes and virtues we all have the potential of possessing and becoming.

No matter what religion, beliefs, or ideas you subscribe to, when you know WHO YOU ARE then that’s the proper footing to stand on. It certainly fulfills the sayings, KNOW THYSELF and Go Thou and Do Likewise.

ladyfibrowarrior : Hello, My name is Mic. I’m new at blogging. Only been at it almost 2 weeks now. I’m so glad I came across your blog. I love it and I think this is such a great idea. I have Fibromyalgia. I started getting symptoms back in beginning of 2012 and finally got diagnosed this past October. My life has changed so much since I’ve started this painful battle and I’ve always loved to write. So I thought I’d share my experience and hopefully connect with good people.

After over fifty years in the religious organization my wife and I left the religious life to follow God outside of the traditional church.
