Desert

This poem is about someone who is separated from his better half.  While he is trying to forget her, he feels thirsty for her love.  He feels like a desert with none to nourish him emotionally.

He felt like a parched land

With none to hold his hand

Like a desert devoid of rains

He racked his brains

How to satisfy his thirst

On god, his pains he thrust

None would understand his feeling

His emotions were reeling

He worked hard to erase her from his mind

By her words, he was enchanted

Each time he thought of her

He needed a cure

What pain he endures

With him is my prayers!
