Over your comment, I began to mull
I had to drill it into my skull
I could be anything, but dull
Our friendship came to a standstill
My fondness of you, I want to kill
It sure will require some skill
Animosity begins to fill
My heart doesn’t need a pill
I only need to exercise my will
To descend the friendship hill
Calling me dull, my confidence, you grill
You emptied my cup of thrill
I cut you off, like a frock’s frill
You can’t land my mind in peril
A better friend than you, have I
He thinks of me as the apple of his eye
My love for him will never die
He is sweeter than apple pie
With his support, I shall soar high!
