PUTTING “SAMENESS” TO REST

We have established from the primary sources of Islam that through the appropriation and recasting of our Biblical narrative in all of its elements, vocabulary and terminology, into the Qur’an itself, there has been a usurpation of the authentic Biblical narrative which is historically accurate, and proven by the fulfilment of its prophecies as well as substantiated by archaeology and related disciplines.

The Islamic counter narrative (with its various threads) has been cleverly woven together, by keeping some apparent similarities in the names and stories of the Biblical characters, thus giving the illusion that they are the same as the Biblical ones. Having done that, the Qur’an takes the bold step of declaring that “your God and our Allah are the same”. Built into that in the Qur’anic narrative is the unsubstantiated assertion that all previous “books” were earlier limited editions of the Qur’an, that their recipients were all Muslims, and that they already knew about Muhammad and paid allegiance to him by Allah’s command. The result is a narrative that replaces the Biblical narrative that points to Christ, to another pointing to Muhammad.

THE “SAMENESS” CLAIM SERVES MULTIPLE PURPOSES

For an intro to this topic see LORD GOD VS. ALLAH: THE SAMENESS ILLUSION

THE LOGICAL TWIST – THE SAME AND NOT THE SAME, AT THE SAME TIME!

Now let’s go deeper with the “sameness” façade, or illusion, because it is this protected aura as articulated in the Qur’an, “…our Allah and your Allah is one (the same)…”, which veils and protects the hidden identity of the true Allah from scrutiny.

Ironically, it is also this aura of “sameness” – when Qur’anic claims are not found to be substantiated within the pages of the Bible – that necessitates and facilitates Islamic charges of “corruption” against the “People of the Book”, the Jews and the Christians. Having thus allegedly tampered with Allah’s words, they are declared guilty of blasphemy, and therefore justifiably deserving of Allah’s eternal wrath!

In the following two sections we provide the basis for this convoluted reasoning:

  • First, the roots of the “sameness” claims in the Qur’an.
  • Then, how this initial “sameness” claim at some point, inevitably necessitates the further Islamic claim of “Biblical corruption”.

Later on, in the section on Biblical corruption, we provide illustrations that are used by Islam in attempts to support and justify this logic.

Fear of the Dark

p8

I know a high school kid who is terrible afraid of scary movies, pictures and darkness in general. I have personally seen how terrified he can  get, if someone pops a scary movie poster or image on his face. I though it was unreal and unusual for a teenager to have that kind of fear, but it is real for him. He wrote me a prayer/poem to help him get past his fear.

I know you don’t know him personally, but please spend a moment in time to remember him in your prayer

Dear Jesus in this hour I pray.
Lord I ask that all my terrors you would slay.
You are the almighty, the king of all.
Nothing can prohibit you, big nor small.
Bare and empty I come to you.
Wash me, cleanse me, refresh me anew.
I may cry at night and cry in the day,
but sweet lord Jesus will chase my fears away.
Broken and helpless I chase after your light.
For I know that for your children you shall fight.
You are the king, the savior of man.
Jesus please protect me with your hand.
I long for heaven’s glorious gate.
For, I know this is my blessed fate.
Thank you Jesus for protecting me.
With you I can do all things,
even walk over the sea.
In the name of the father, son, and holy ghost.
You are the one who deserves praise utmost.

Gangsters don’t Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you are trudging, seems all uphill,
when funds are low and debts are high,
and instead of a smile, you have a sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest in God’s love – never quit,
lie can be strange with its twist and turns,
and many a failed man has turned away,
when with God’s help ,he’d have won the day.

Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow-
for you may succeed with another go
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver glint in the cloud of doubts
you never can tell how close you are-
The goal may be near when it seems so far.
so turn to the Lord, when you’re hardest hit,
put your trust in him, and never quit
